Obedience--what does it really mean? Hello to everyone and much love to all people. We pray something on these pages, is helping to renew your interest in the things of the Almighty Father and Messiah. This topic of "Obedience" might seem trivial to some, but in light of the world, it would seem a very important topic to look at, in comparison to Scriptural words of similar meaning.
John 14:23--"YHVSHA answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him"
James 1:22 --''But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves''
2 Corinthians 10:5 --"Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of YAHVAH (G-d), and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Messiah"
It is interesting to note that there are approximately 228 verses in Scripture that refer to 'Obedience', either indirectly or straight to the word. This many references must then prove, the absolute necessity of Obedience to The Almighty Fathers, instructions and Commandments.
The word "Obedience" in Hebrew__Strong's #H8085--"SHEMA -- ''DEUT 6:4 Denotes 2 actions, to hear and obey"__In the Greek Strong's 'hupakoe' #G5218__obedience, submission to what is heard" Romans 6:16
No optional allowance is seen that is written concerning Obedience to His Commands.. yet nothing is mentioned these days in the Religious world that implies that the Commandments must be kept. People have forgotten and misread; The NEW Covenant accomplished by Messiah The Saviour, ONLY pertained to the Sacrificial Laws, and its curses: NOT to the Commandments, The Ordinances, or any of the other Laws. It is no wonder most 'Church going people' think that such things are 'optional'. Of Course having been taught erroneously, that we are under 'Grace' only, (they don't even understand what "Grace " Really is !!) (In spite of what Messiah has said, about the Law-Matthew 5:17) PASTORS TEACH WE dont need to obey the Law since Calvary; this dis-information has exploded the ideology. And__ those verse-'WORD" changes having been made by the Romans in 325 AD; that tried to say, the law was done away with; has just confused many; as most people do not study the Scriptures for themselves; to see the Full Truth written by the Apostles, Prophets and the Disciples. Romans 3:21-4:25 (KJV) 21 But now the righteousness of God ---''without''= (is an error) Greek-#5556'apart FROM" the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of YHVH {G-d} which is by faith of MESSIAH unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
As Scripture CLEARLY states even by Paul, "We are to establish" the Law. Romans 3:31 STRONGS #2476, to cause to make to stand" This again, every Pastor, every Evangelist, and teacher IS responsible to know the word for themselves, OBEY IT, then TAKE a stand and PREACH IT !! That is: IF they are Not 'compromised', if they truly are Called, and Holy Spirit led and KNOW the Truth. IF they have dug through the lies and deception of the last 1700 + years, and are bold enough to SPEAK THE TRUTH. IF THEY cannot do so; are NOT honest and strong enough: it is time for them to get OUT of the Pulpit! Because they have just lost their legitimacy (Not by my word, but by the Scriptures)
2 Timothy 4:2--"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.”
2 Timothy 2:15--"Do your best to present yourself to YAHVAH (G-d" as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth''
1 John 4:1--"Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from the Father, because many false prophets have gone out into the world'' (Test by the Whole Words of Scripture)
Luke 21:8--"He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them.
Matthew 24:23-26--"At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time.
Yes Obedience is required, by the words of Messiah and by the Father Creator of Heaven and Earth. So-called belief, minus obedience to His Commands, produces only LIES, empty 'rhetoric', even if verses are used to try and make their ''words'' OF SPEECH look good! The words are without any Power and without the Father Creators Spirit. Its time for honesty and time to Awaken to TRUTH. Nothing less than Complete OBEDIENCE to the Almighty, a Full Gospel, Full Repentance and Submission to the Almighty Father's Spirit, will make any changes in this late hour.
MATTHEW 16:24-26 ""Then THE SAVIOR said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?''
Friends, our compassionate Eternal Father knows how to start a 'work' of light, under anyone who is willing to have the teachable heart of a child and the courage to be a follower of Messiah. These are the ones who will first receive the new light of truth, with an open mind and then search the Scriptures to see if these things are so.
