The Suffering of  Messiah used to be one of the greatest messages from the Pulpit.   Shows you how far  the TRUE GOSPEL has slipped;  being  replaced with  Church politics, entertainment and World issues-prospeerity messages and a 15 minute disertation.  No Church can be resurrected on such ''Contemporary reteric''.  Such is NOT the message of the Gospel 

 LUKE 24l46-47--''

⁴⁶ And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved MESSIAH to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

⁴⁷ And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

2 Timothy 4:2-5--'' Preach the WORD; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. ³ For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;⁴ And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.⁵ But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

WRITTEN TO BELIEVERS

1 Corinthians 6:19-20--''What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of The Almighty Father, and ye are not your own?   20-- For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify The Heavenly Father in your body, and in your spirit, which are The Heavenly Father's.

This chapter in 1 Corinthians 6, is centered on the sin of fornication, but these verses also pertain to many other things. When we finally realize that truly we are no longer 'our own', because Messiah has ''purchased'' us;  given His Life, and shed His blood to redeem us from sin and slavery to sin, - He has a 'right' to hold us to a life that HE approves of.

DO PEOPLE  REALIZE THE REAL COST OF OUR REDEMPTION?     It is doubful most ever consider the awful weight of the Brutality MESSIAH  endured, for the "likes of us" the Sinners who "put Him there on that stake" You say, ""Oh but I did not put Him there"  OH   YES  we did; every last one of us, Because ""We have all sinned and come short of the Glory of YAHVAH"". Romans 3:23. Does anyone ever take a moment to realize the weight of Isaiah 53:5__""⁵ But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace ( Strong's #7965= our completeness-soundness-welfare) was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed".     

Everyone is quick to talk about and accept, ""By His stripes we are healed'''', yet NOT look into the ""Wounds, the Stripes  and that word "Bruised".      Wounded_Greek #2490='defiled-polluted-violated=pierced-bore.....Bruised Greek #1792=crushed-shattered-BROKEN......Stripes Greek #2250=blows wounds (beatings).

HE said  in PSALM 22:17..I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.      Psalms 22:14 --'' I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.''______Isaiah 52:14 ''As many were astonied at thee; HIS visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:  MATTHEW 27:29-""And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!"" 30""And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.""      (THE BEREAN STUDY BIBLE SAYS HE WAS HIT ON THE HEAD REPEATEDLY =(DRIVING  THOSE THORNS INTO HIS SKULL)

ISAIAH 50:6 -''“I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.”   THE WHIPS WITH BITS OF GLASS AND BONE ATTACHED TO THE LEATHER  STRAPS THAT TORE OUT CHUNKS OF FLESH AND MUSCLE, AS THE THONGS  WRAPPED ABOUT THE BODY,  WHILE THEY BEAT HIM  INCESSANTLY.

Todays careless and selfist lifestyle, has become a high fence barrier to many people trying to walk a Spirit filled life. We are told, "We are in the world, but not of it" and to "Come out from among them, and be ye separate''.  John 15:19---James 4:4-- Whoever is a friend of the world, is an enemy of the Almighty Father-(G-D) 

1John 2:15-“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

2 Corinthians 6--''14-Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?--  15-And what concord hath Messiah with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16-And what agreement hath the temple of YAH  (G-D) with idols? for ye are the temple of the living YAHVAH (G-d_; as YAHVAH (G-d) hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their Alohim (G-d), and they shall be my people.17-Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith  YAHVAH, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,18-And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Almighty Father. 

It is amazing how quickly  association of believers with non-believing folks, can pull even the strongest profession of faith downward.  Connections do not have to be anything  immoral or unclean;  but the simplest things, like too much jesting, talking, excessive laughing and sharing of life stories ;  is all it takes to work worldly things back into ones mind; and at the same time disrupt and  distort the connection between the Holy Spirit and our heart of Praise and worship. By Using good judgement, it truly is better to LIMIT the connection times , UNLESS  WE ARE WITNESSING-- we must be 'separate from the  '' WORKS''' OF THE world". We are not to ''strive to fit in''  We are to look and act different from those in the world around us, not to copy any of their habits or lifestyles.--WE ARE IN THE WIORLD--NOT OF IT.

-Being able to see old classmates, friends, relatives is always great, but the chances of disruption to our faith is great, unless we are really on guard. Our Spiritual enemies are crafty, underhanded and at the same time intelligent. They can make everything look so innocent and acceptable.  Lots of "light shining" but the cold darkness  lay just beneath. The deception of Satan is of great magnitude. Don't be deceived, he is a LIAR of the worst kind.   The less you ''FELLOW SHIP'' with ''unbelievers'', the better. BE WISE AS SERPENTS AND HARMLESS AS DOVES.  BE A WITNESS OF MESSIAH, AND SHOW LOVE, BUT DON'T ACCEPT OR ALLOW THE WAYS OF THE WORLD.

REMEMBER THE AWFUL PRICE THAT WAS PAID FOR--  THE DEBT THAT WAS OWED - FOR OUR -REDEMPTION; KEEP IT IN YOUR SPIRIT, LET IT NOT FALL AWAY. THE '' PRICE''  THAT WAS PAID FOR OUR SIN; WAS TOO BRUTAL, BEYOND WHAT  ONES MIND CAN COMPREHEND.  THE DEBT WAS PAID IN FULL FOR ALL THE '''PAST SINS''    (AND ALL FUTURE SIN; IF WE REPENT !! )    OF YAHVAH'S PEOPLE. THAT DEBT WAS INCURRED BY ALL BELIEVERS WHO EVER LIVED;  GOING BACK TO THE BEGINNING OF TIME;  AND ALL THOSE WHO WILL COME INTO THE KINGDOM IN THE FUTURE.   REMEMBER THE DEBT COVERED AT CALVARY,  WAS FOR '''PAST SINS''--NOT THOSE SINS COMMITTED BY ''BELIEVERS'' .  WE STILL NEED TO REPENT OF ANY AND ALL SIN,   AFTER WE HAVE ACCEPTED  MESSIAH AS OUR SAVIOUR       1 JOHN 2:1--""My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, YAHSHUA MESSIAH the righteous:

Luke 10:27 - And he answering said, Thou shalt love YAH (the L-rd) thy  Alahim  (G-d)  with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.   """Heart, Soul, Strength, and Mind'', incorporates our whole being.  This is what describes an ""Overcomer""...  the ""house"" built upon a Rock, immovable, and solid, not wavering.
